Erich Glaubitz is a solo singer/guitarist; an award winning songwriter who has written countless music for TV, Movies and commercials; and lead singer/guitarist of the band Yellowfly. His live shows combine his smoky voice and polished guitar playing, with a natural wit, a ridiculously vast music selection and lots of crowd participation. Erich grew up absorbing music by bands such as The Beatles, The Police, U2, and taught himself guitar figuring out Jimi Hendrix songs. Over the years he has done session work for Grammy winning producers Nile Rodgers, Keith Diamond and Mike Appel, and in the 90’s had record deal with his band “Zone Patrol.” Erich and his current band “Yellowfly” have had two songs topping radio charts across the country with “Family Photograph’s” in 2001 and “Fall into you” in 2005. His song “Sensation” was one of the winners in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting contest as well as being the theme song to the TV show California Bountiful.

 

Erich has written music for Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Stephen Colbert, Today Show, Impractical Jokers, MLB Tonight, House Hunters, CNN, ESPN, FOX, HGTV, Cablevision, Cold Case Files, Sears, Mitsubishi, LIPA, Maury Povitch Show,, Champion, Aer Lingus as well as many others. He has had his music in the movies “Pirates of the Sea,” “The Jones Beach Boys,” “First Person,” “They come to America,” and the Oscar winning movie “Bowling for Columbine.”

Erich also has a published novel, Twin, which can be found on every major web bookstore.
